International Observe the Moon Night

Get a close-up look at the moon with a special telescope viewing event.

Join us for a worldwide celebration of lunar science and exploration! You’re invited to the Pete Burke Community Center, B725 for International Observe the Moon Night on October 4 from 6 PM - 7:30 PM.

This free, public event is a chance to observe and learn about the Moon together, and to honor cultural and personal connections with our nearest celestial neighbor. We will have a special telescope for participants to use, giving you a unique, up-close look at the moon.

Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase.

This event is in collaboration with Garmisch Elementary Middle School and Garmisch Elementary Middle School PTA.
